Amanda is a social and cultural strategist, and writer. She has shepherded brands through the evolving art-slash-science of impacting pop culture at scale for over 10 years, and aims to connect brands to the communities they serve.

In human speak: Amanda likes to do cool stuff to make cool people talk about cool brands.

Amanda is now at Microsoft as the Director of Social Media for Minecraft. Her team at Riot Games was also probably the first in history to win a Clio for a tweet about feet. Her previous work includes launching Hulu’s Originals content vertical through watershed moments like The Handmaid’s Tale, and similarly helped Spotify “make podcasts a thing.”

In addition to her professional work, Amanda is a member of the RAINN Speaker’s Bureau and volunteers at various local arts, education, and animal-related charity initatives. She currently resides in Seattle with her strays-turned-aristocats, Fish and Chip and recently completed her secondary undergraduate degree in Creative Writing from the University of Oxford.
